About SpooksLab
Modular tools for everyone, built with heart and precision.
SpooksLab is a resource studio and software lab founded by Laura Enfield, a developer specializing in multi-agent systems, SaaS applications, and workflow automation. We are dedicated to building modular, adaptable, and human-centered tools for creative technologists, developers, educators, and anyone who thrives on a clean, reliable workflow.
We design systems that reduce chaos, increase clarity, and make complex technology feel intuitive. Whether you're automating your daily operations, building collaborative toolkits, or leveling up your creative stack, SpooksLab delivers tools that work beautifully—and grow right alongside you.

What we build
Three pillars of work.
Workflow & SaaS Automation
- Day-to-Day Simplifiers: Custom applications and micro-SaaS tools designed for personal and professional use.
- Seamless Integrations: Modular utilities built to plug cleanly into your existing tech stack, turning complex operations into zero-friction automated pipelines.
AI Systems & Multi-Agent Frameworks
- Embedded AI: Smart assistants integrated directly into the applications you already use.
- Specialized Agents: Modular agents ranging from basic task-runners to full domain-expert suites.
- LMCrew (Our Flagship AI System): A custom agent framework that creates and executes the tasks you want to automate. LMCrew can manage passive-income systems, run full research cycles, convert findings into structured LLM-ready knowledge, and integrate safely with your preferred models and environments.
Modular Resource Frameworks
- UI & UX Kits: Expandable, beginner-friendly interfaces with deep extensibility built in.
- Engineering & Learning References: Lightweight, adaptive learning tools and structural frameworks that empower solo creators and collaborative teams alike to build with confidence.
Why we exist
Born out of pure frustration with the status quo.
I watched incredibly talented, hard-working creators hit a ceiling—not because they lacked skill, but because the tools required to compete professionally were locked behind hundreds of dollars in monthly subscriptions. The tech industry has a bad habit of gatekeeping success. Essential software for broadcasting, media management, and automation is often priced for people who have already made it, leaving rising talent out in the cold.
I got tired of watching brilliant people get blocked at the starting line by corporate price-gouging. So, I started building. What began as a single project to create a better, leaner broadcasting tool (EchoCast) quickly snowballed. I realized that with smart engineering and a refusal to accept industry bloat, the same high-tier applications draining creators' wallets could be built better and made accessible to everyone.
Today, SpooksLab exists to level the playing field. We are entirely anti-gatekeeping. From lightweight productivity apps to complex, natural-language automation systems like LMCrew, our mission is to put life-changing technology directly into the hands of the people who actually need it—without the greed, the endless paywalls, or the friction.

How we build
Obsessive over the entire lifecycle.
We obsess over the entire lifecycle of building: researching, planning, scaffolding, testing, breaking, restarting, and refining until a product reaches its optimal form. Custom development is never linear, so we work across diverse environments—C++, Python, React, custom APIs, and local AI ecosystems—to identify the most efficient, purpose-built stack for each unique requirement. Every tool is engineered for modularity, clarity, and long-term adaptability.
Our values
Five principles we live by.
Modularity
Everything we build is designed to evolve, adapt, and teach.
Transparency
We document the journey, not just the finished product.
Empowerment
Tools should make you feel incredibly capable, not overwhelmed.
Family-Driven
Our brand reflects real life—kids, chaos, and all.
Community
We give back through open resources, volunteer engineering, and service.
